I’ve been going here since I was a toddler and have never been let down. Menus are clearly displayed on the storefront and they have the best cherry dip. The ice cream is homemade, so custom flavors are always a hit compared to other establishments. Make your private events stand out with their catering/pop up ice cream bar service! They even serve your dog! Parking lot is the cleanest, most evenly paved in Newburgh. Pick up counter isn’t sticky like other places

We live about 30 minutes away but we're in the area for dinner and decided to look for a soft ice cream stand. Thanks to Google maps we found this place. We have been very disappointed with the ice cream stands closer to our home so we're willing to venture out of our way to try this way. So happy we did. It was a Saturday evening and it was packed. We were willing to wait and it was the right decision. The lines to place your order were moving very efficiently. Staff was pleasant and the shoppe appeared to be clean inside and outside. Orders are placed at the front windows and picked up on the side. Despite how busy they were our order came out quickly. We are so glad we found this place. The ice cream cones were generously made and the ice cream was delicious. It was very firm, smooth, creamy and the perfect sweetness. We will most definitely be willing to take a 30 minute drive whenever we are looking for soft ice cream.

Did you guys SEE that new Facebook video that just dropped at Mary Jane’s Ice Cream?! I don’t KNOW if it’s true… and this is just my personal thought… BUT that smile on that guy pulling up in the CLASSIC Mustang looks EXACTLY like the smile of somebody who just found out he’s about to try a brand new flavor Not because he’s driving a Mustang… Not because it’s a classic… THAT is the smile of a man who just received some kind of emergency insider ice cream trader information text message saying: “NOT ONE… NOT TWO… BUT THREE BRAND NEW FLAVORS JUST DROPPED THIS MORNING.” You could literally see him sitting there trading flavor information in his head like Wall Street stock tips. Bro already mentally clocked out thinking: “Yeah buddy… lemme get a scoop of this… a scoop of that… and another scoop for emotional support.” And THAT’S the thing about Mary Jane’s… You could pull up in a Lamborghini. You could pull up in flip-flops WITH socks. You could pull up in flip-flops with NO socks. You could pull up with ONE flip-flop on, ONE shoe on, one sock missing, gas light on E, windows down, hair looking like you fought a tornado on Route 9 NONE OF IT matters once that ice cream hits your soul. I stop at ice cream shops ALL over the place and every single time I catch myself saying: “This ain’t Mary Jane’s.” That other cream of ice… AIN’T the cream of life. ONLY at Mary Jane’s does the ice cream make you SCREAM The flavors are ridiculous. The vibe is ridiculous. The happiness level in that parking lot should honestly be medically studied at this point. People ain’t leaving there sad. They leaving there smiling like kids on the last day of school with sprinkle stains on their shirts and absolutely ZERO regrets And honestly… watching that video made me realize something… Nobody smiles like that unless they KNOW something the rest of us don’t know I don’t know if a new flavor really dropped… …but that’s DEFINITELY what that smile looked like What do you think the next flavor will be. Hmmmmmmm?

Loved the presentation and the whole atmosphere here. Definitely a great set up..having tasted all the best Ice Cream in New Jersey over a lifetime, Mary Jane was middle of the road for me. Very good for sure, but it didn't blow me away. I asked for them to pick a flavor that was popular or that they would recommend. I got some chocolate, walnut flavor. The Coconut sample was fantastic, probably should have stuck with that. The serving had a hint of freezer burn, just a small amount. Would have Loved to try the Key Lime flavor, they only had it as a grab n go. I would stop again if every back in the area, way better than anythjnv else that serves any supermarket brands

We drove about 30 minutes to try Mary Jane Dairy Bar, and overall it was a nice experience. The line wasn’t long, which was great, and there was plenty of parking, so it was easy to get in and out. They did accidentally make a mint chocolate chip shake when I had asked for cookie dough, but they quickly fixed it. The shake itself was very thick, more like ice cream in a cup..so it was tough to drink through the straw. On the bright side, the cotton candy ice cream was a huge hit with my younger son, and he really enjoyed it. All in all, it was worth the trip and I’d come back again.

Meg, John and crew were amazing at getting the rent a freezer full of pre-scooped ice cream and novelties ready for my son‘s graduation party. The rent of freezer filled with pre-scooped ice cream and novelties was a massive hit! Their ice cream is absolutely notch, but their service brings them to a whole different level of amazing. If you’re looking for adding an ice cream vendor to your party or your venue, Mary janes dairy bar is the only way to go. Nobody else anywhere in the Hudson Valley or honestly even in New York State will ever come close to how incredibly creamy and tasty their ice cream is and then their customer service was off the charts amazing. Thank you, Meg and John and everyone else for making my son’s graduation party and enormous hit!

Homemade ice cream went with Cinnamon Bun and Maple Walnut both were delicious nice pieces of cinnamon bun and you can really taste the maple. My one minor complaint was that there was a small amount of green ice cream or syrup as I was eating I scooped it out. They have a wide variety of flavors but the menu is difficult to read even with my good eyesight. They also serve other food items like Sabrett hot dogs, burgers etc. but not listed on the menu maybe there's a separate menu and I missed it? I would have possibly tried a hot dog if I had known.
